About ORRO

Pest control you don't have to hide.

Every home has a room where the fruit flies show up first. The kitchen counter. The pantry shelf. The fruit bowl nobody wants to admit is a problem. And every solution on the market today solves it the same way — with a piece of plastic hardware that looks like it belongs in a utility closet, not a home.

We started ORRO because we didn't think that trade-off should exist.

The problem with pest control

Look at what's currently available: opaque housings, exposed grids, harsh blue light, hazard-yellow packaging. It's all built to broadcast one message — *there's a problem here, and this is fixing it.* So people plug it in, let it do its job, and then unplug it the moment guests come over. The product works. The experience of owning it doesn't.

We think that's backwards. A solution you feel like you have to hide isn't actually solving the problem; it's just moving it somewhere less visible.

Décor, not device

ORRO is built on a simple idea: a home object should look like it belongs in your home. Not disguised. Not hidden behind a cabinet door. Just designed the way everything else in your kitchen or pantry already is: with intention.

That's why ORRO doesn't look like a trap. It looks like a soft, frosted wall light. The kind of object you'd leave out because you want to, not because you forgot to unplug it.

Meet the ORRO Light

Our first product is a plug-in light for the rooms where fruit flies and gnats show up; kitchens, pantries, anywhere fruit sits out. Behind its frosted, matte disc is a tri-spectrum light designed to draw insects in continuously, and a second mode that dims to a warm, amber glow at night, so it works quietly whether the room is full of people or empty.

You won't see a grid. You won't see the insects it's caught. What you'll see is a light that happens to be doing more than lighting the room.

A light worth leaving on.

Where we're headed

ORRO starts with a light, but that's the beginning, not the whole idea. We're building toward a broader home pest-control lineup. where every product is designed first with appearance details in mind. A brand that is effective because of that design, not in spite of it. If it's worth having in your home, it should look like it.

Made with intention

ORRO is designed and developed independently, built around a simple standard: if we wouldn't want to look at it, we won't sell it. That standard shapes everything; from the shape of the housing to the way the light shifts through the night, to what happens when you're not thinking about it at all.

That's the whole idea. A better-looking way to solve a problem you'd rather not think about.
